Chipboard : Chipboard, also known as particleboard, is a composite wood material made from small wood chips, usually pine or fir, glued together under high pressure and temperature using resins. It is widely used in furniture construction, interior surfaces, and structural applications.

Melamine (LPB): LPB (Low Pressure Melamine) melamine is a synthetic material widely used in the surface treatment of chipboard in furniture and surface manufacturing due to its durability and ease of maintenance. It is applied to substrates such as MDF (Medium-density fibreboard) or OSB (Oriented Strand Board) to produce resistant surfaces.

Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering a range of advantages over other materials. It is exceptionally resistant to wear and tear, making it ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It flawlessly maintains its shape and structure, ensuring stability and longevity for furniture. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can also have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).

Maintenance Instructions:

Chipboard (Mοριοσανίδα): For cleaning chipboard, you can use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.

Melamine (LPB): To remove stains from the surface, use a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Melamine is sensitive to moisture, so it's important to protect it from water.

Metal: For any indoor metal, regular dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
1. For extended protection, apply a protective cream to your metal furniture, easily available at hardware stores.
2. If your furniture is powder-coated, it is highly durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
3. If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, take extra care to keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers and bring them indoors during the winter if possible.
4. If you notice rust, remove it with kerosene and then apply an anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with rust-resistant paint.
